Former Mayor, Edward Estes, served the citizens of Glenarden for 4 years, from 2017 through 2021. During his term as Mayor, Edward brought his project management and architectural experience to the position, making planning and construction an efficient and functioning capacity within the City government.
Former Mayor Estes made it a point to bring attention to planning and architectural impacts to the City through the development of a sustainable plan with the Planning and Economic Development division of the State of Maryland for the City during his term as Mayor
